Whether you seek to boost your professional communication abilities or gain greater social confidence, this afternoon workshop will help you become a more effective and engaging public speaker.
In a supportive and informal setting, you'll acquire techniques to improve your voice and physical presence for better communication. Along with speech-writing basics, you'll learn to manage nervousness, receive expert guidance on voice projection and microphone technique, and delve into public speaking in a variety of contexts. You'll also discover how elements like visual aids, storytelling, and personalisation can create strong connections with any audience, and explore what makes you a unique and compelling speaker.

About your Tutor:
Tom Veryzer is a performer, lecturer and teacher whose international career has spanned over two decades co-running and performing in his own theatre company. He has a degree in English and Drama and teaches the LAMDA Speaking In Public exam.
